Terms of Service
Before You Read Further
Reading, bookmarking, or otherwise using Mufich Audio means you accept these terms. If something below sits badly with you, the reasonable response is to close the tab. This is a personal technical notebook, not a subscription service, and access is offered on these conditions alone.
What This Site Is
Mufich Audio collects measurement notes, restoration logs, and listening comparisons written by one working technician who also mixes records. Posts cover transformer and tape behavior, console and reel-to-reel repair, monitoring, and whether plugins actually reproduce the hardware they claim to model. All of it is informational. There is no shop here, no catalogue, no affiliate scheme, and no commercial relationship with the manufacturers whose gear gets measured.
Using the Material
Text, photographs, bench plots, and audio examples published here belong to the site operator unless credited otherwise. Quote, cite, and link freely — short excerpts with attribution are welcome. Republishing whole posts, mirroring the archive, or reselling the content is not.
Modest automated access is fine: feed readers, archive crawlers, search indexing. What is not fine is hammering the server, ignoring the directives in robots.txt, bulk-harvesting for model training without asking first, probing for endpoints, or otherwise treating the site as a dataset to be drained. Keep request rates low enough that ordinary readers don’t notice you. Sustained abuse gets blocked, and no, there’s no appeal form.
Don’t use the site to plan or encourage anything unlawful. That should go without saying; it’s written down because boilerplate requires it.
Accuracy, or the Lack of It
Measurements are posted as taken, with the setup described, but benches differ, units drift, and my ears are not yours. Everything is offered as-is, without warranty of correctness, completeness, or fitness for any particular purpose — including a session you are being paid for. Verify anything you intend to rely on. Repair and modification work described here carries real risk of shock, fire, and destroyed irreplaceable gear; treat these write-ups as reading material, not as a service manual or an instruction to act.
Liability
Use at your own risk. To the extent the law permits, the operator is not responsible for losses arising from reading or applying anything published here — damaged equipment, missed deadlines, lost recordings, or hours spent chasing a null result. The site exists to inform and to satisfy curiosity; it is not advice you can bill against.
Changes
These terms get revised when the site changes shape. The current version is whatever you are reading now, and continued use after an edit counts as agreement. Substantive changes are noted in the post stream rather than buried here.
Governing Law
No specific jurisdiction is claimed. Where a dispute genuinely needs a forum, ordinary applicable law and the operator’s place of residence govern.
